The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has announced two library appointments. Michele Hayslett is the new data services librarian; she previously was data services and government information librarian at North Carolina StateUniversity, Raleigh. Renee McBride has been named head of the special formats and metadata section; she most recently was technical services and arts liaison librarian at HollinsUniversity, Roanoke, VA.
The University of Michigan (UM), Ann Arbor, has recently filled two positions. Scott Hanley is the new infopoint services librarian in the Health Sciences Libraries; he previously was an information assistant there while attending UM’s School of Information. Kristina Eden is the new cooperative access services projects librarian; she had been a paraprofessional in the Michigan Information Transfer Source at UM Libraries.
