Carol Brown, Director of Fort Bend County Libraries, Richmond, TX, is retiring after working in libraries for 36 years. She earlier was at the Houston Public Library, TX.

Timothy Cherubini has joined SOLINET as Director of Information Resources, Collections, and Scholarly Communications, a newly created position. He was SOLINET's Manager, Program Management and Development.

Regina Cooper will become Executive Director of the Springfield–Greene County Library District, MO, effective January 2009. She currently is Associate Director of the Huntsville–Madison County Public Library, AL.

Barbara Custen has been appointed Assistant Director for Public Services at the County of Los Angeles Public Library. She currently is the Director of the Riverside Public Library, CA.

Tim Daniels has been named Assistant State Librarian for Support Services and Strategic Initiatives for the Georgia Public Library Service. Daniels previously was a Program Manager for the statewide PINES consortium.

Marguerite Dube has been promoted to Director of the Chester County Library, Exton, PA. She was the library's Business/Finance Manager and just completed her MLS from Drexel University, Philadelphia.

David Farnan is the new Associate Director of Community Services at Douglas County Libraries, Castle Rock, CO. He was Adult Services Coordinator at the Cleveland Heights–University Heights Public Library.

Jeremy Frumkin has joined the University of Arizona Libraries, Tucson, as Chief Technology Strategist. Frumkin was Head, Emerging Technologies and Services, at Oregon State University Libraries, Corvallis.

Keith Gresham has joined Princeton University, NJ, as the Associate University Librarian for Research and Instructional Services. He was Director of Information and Instruction Services at the University of Vermont, Burlington.

Marilyn Hinshaw will retire as Executive Director of the six-county Eastern Oklahoma District Library System, Muskogee, effective December 31.

Cynthia Klinck, Director of Washington-Centerville Public Library, OH, for the past 30 years, has announced her retirement, effective February 28, 2009.
