Harvard’s Stuart Shieber To Kick Off Columbia University Libraries Speaker Series

The Scholarly Communication Program of Columbia University Libraries and Information Services this week announced that Stuart Shieber, architect of Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences Open Access Resolution, will kick off a six-event speaker series on issues in scholarly communication, on October 8, 2008. The talk will be held on Columbia’s Morningside Campus in the Jed D. Satow Conference Room at Alfred Lerner Hall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The series is free and open to the public.
