ea. vol: Sourcebooks Casablanca.
A nobleman enlists the aid of his childhood best friend in helping a young runaway Charity Girl escape a cruel aunt and eventually discovers that love was closer to home than he’d realized in this witty, lively romance that was first published in 1970.

One of Heyer’s vividly descriptive, well-researched historicals, The Conqueror is a fictionalized biography of William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy, from his illegitimate birth through his early adventures to his coronation as King of England after the Battle of Hastings. His determined courtship of and eventual marriage to the beautiful, strong-willed Matilda of Flanders adds a thread of romance to this novel that was first published in 1931.

In Regency Buck, a young woman goes with her brother to London to meet their "elderly" guardian and finds he is young, attractive, arrogant, and intent on sending them back to the country. Naturally, romance interferes in this classic Heyer confection that has links to An Infamous Army; first published in 1935.

Newark, Elizabeth. Jane Eyre’s Daughter. Sourcebooks Casablanca. Sept. 2008. c.336p. ISBN 978-1-4022-1237-6. $12.95. HISTORICAL GOTHIC
Joining the ranks of currently popular spin-offs of classic romance and Gothic novels, this engaging story takes Janet Rochester, the self-possessed, courageous daughter of Jane Eyre Rochester and Edward Fairfax Rochester, and gives her a life, a mystery, and a romance of her own. Originally published in 1999 by New Ark Productions as Jane Eyre’s Daughter: A Sequel to Jane Eyre.
