NDSU Lib Selects Millennium

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 5/15/2008

North Dakota State University (NDSU) Library, Fargo, has selected Innovative Interface's Millennium ILS. The library also selected the integrated My RSS Feeds and Feed Builder products to publish timely information to its users.

“Our biggest reason for moving to Millennium is to create a better user experience,” said Jeremy Brown, director of the library's IT division. “We want our web presence to act like a real service, and Innovative's products fit very well with that.

NDSU library will be pilot-testing Millennium for the Online Dakota Information Network (ODIN). The facility consists of a main building plus four branch libraries and a storage facility. Its collections include more than one million volumes, over 35,000 print and electronic full-text current serials, 90,000 maps, and a variety of AV materials. With the University of North Dakota, it is a Regional U.S. Government Publications Depository.
