Trio of Products from ProQuest
By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 2/1/2008
ProQuest has a trio of new deals and offerings. The company has added a feature called Study Paths to its Nursing & Allied Health Source, which, ProQuest said, “allows students to view quickly full-text articles recommended by a board of experienced nurse educators on topics relevant to their studies.” ProQuest asserts that Study Paths will be a boon to nursing students needing study resources for exams and class assignments.
Additionally, ProQuest has added Corporate PressDisplay to its NewspaperDirect service. The new feature “allows corporate librarians to deliver customized news services directly to executives' and information specialists' desktops or preferred mobile devices.” Corporate PressDisplay covers more than 450 international publications.
Lastly, ProQuest and Dow Jones have extended their information provider agreement to include the vendor's licensed content available through the latter's Factiva business information service.
