Historical Deal for EOS

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 2/1/2008

The Maryland, South Carolina, Colorado, and Georgia historical societies have contracted with EOS International “for cataloging and accessing materials owned, borrowed, and archived” by them. EOS said that each of the four “contains a diverse collection of objects for both public display and for private research and cataloging” and notes that they also maintain museums, special libraries, public education programs, special events, and retrospectives for their state.

EOS's role will be to help them ensure “that materials are accurately cataloged, tracked, and maintained in a single system.”
