ANSI Approves NISO’s SUSHI

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has given the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) Z39.93 standard, Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI), its final approval. According to NISO, the standard “defines an automated request and response model for the harvesting of electronic resources usage data, utilizing a web services framework.”
