Ex Libris Adds GIDEON Database

Ex Libris has announced that “following a successful beta-testing period carried out by MetaLib customers and [its] staff,” the GIDEON (Global Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Online Network) database is now included on the MetaLib Central Knowledge Base. Researchers will be able to use the MetaLib portal’s interface to search GIDEON, which includes sections on diagnosis, epidemiology, therapy, microbiology, and more.
