Facts On File News Reunited

Facts On File, Inc. (FOF) has reached a deal with Reader's Digest Association (RDA) to “acquire the assets of Facts On File News Services” for an undisclosed sum. FOF sold the News Services arm of its business in 1996 to WRC Media Inc., which merged with RDA the following year. As part of the agreement, RDA will retain rights to the FOF News Services product Facts for Learning, a “curriculum-based reference database built on digital content from the Weekly Reader magazines,” which will remain part of RDA's Weekly Reader Publishing Group.
