New Officers for TLC

The Library Corporation (TLC) has announced several changes among its executives. Simon Marcus has joined TLC as VP and chief operating officer to help plan and implement development of products and market strategies. He most recently was COO of the Authors Guild. Joshua (Jabe) Bloom has joined TLC as chief technology officer. Bloom is a software/security architect who has provided leadership on emerging technologies to Fortune 100 companies.
Gar Sydnor will serve as senior VP of TLC. Sydnor is a 15-year veteran of the library automation industry and has been instrumental in the growth of sales of Library.Solution®, CARL.XT, and add-on products such as AquaBrowser Library®. In his new post, Sydnor will oversee TLC's strategic direction and guide development of more customer-driven solutions and partnerships. Tim Heishman, Inwood Operations VP, will continue to oversee the company's support, training, installation, IT, and data operations. Heishman's duties will expand to include collaboration in sales, strategy, and product development.
