EBSCO Unfurls Reference Center

EBSCO Publishing is marketing what is sure to be a patron crowd pleaser. The company has partnered with Creative Publishing international (CPi) to market the Home Improvement Reference Center. The do-it-yourself resource contains 24 of CPi's full-text reference works and more than 10,000 illustrative images, which the publisher said are not available from any other database aggregator or ebook vendor. According to EBSCO, the database covers “maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating home and garden,” and more.
The database also contains the full text for many other related publications that help supplement and support CPi's full-text reference works and images. EBSCO said this resource has “its own specialized interface to make searching for information of interest as easy as possible. Remote access is also available so that library patrons can easily access the information in Home Improvement Reference Center from their own home.”
