SWiftnet Chooses Auto-Graphics
By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 3/1/2007
The Southwest Kansas Library System's SWiftnet consortium has opted for Auto-Graphics's AGent Verso as the ILS solution for its 32 public library members. All participants will share a common bibliographic database, but each will be able to customize the interface, including the events calendar, RSS feeds, and staff and patron display preferences. Since 2005, Kansas has been making a concerted effort to automate 80 percent of all public libraries and has been spending Library Services and Technology Act funds with vendors like Auto-Graphics, which claims to have contracts with ten percent of the state's libraries.
