NLM Adds Vivisimo

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) January 17 revealed that it is incorporating Vivisimo's enterprise search software to improve searching on its web page. Vivisimo will make for easier access to information on linked web pages and enhance functionality on the library's noted consumer health sites MedlinePlus and MedlinePlus en español. Vivisimo already has similar agreements with the FirstGov web portal and Department of Defense MilitaryHOMEFRONT portal.
