ICCOC Taps WebFeat

The seven-member Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC) is opting for a WebFeat Enterprise Edition for its federated search solution. Combined, consortium members employ four disparate ILS products at their 14 library locations statewide. WebFeat is customizable to accommodate all the different vendors’ offerings and give the colleges resource compatibility, multisite authentication, profiling, and usage tracking. WebFeat also allows ICCOC users to search simultaneously across each member’s catalog holdings. WebFeat Enterprise also “supports all major site authentication methods, including IP and referrer URL, solving the challenge of discrete multilibrary identification and authentication....”
