EnvisionWare Adds RFID Suite

Library self-service solutions provider EnvisionWare has released Renaissance, an “end-to-end open standard RFID product suite sporting a barcode and RFID-based materials handling system.” Renaissance includes everything from tags to media covers, staff stations, table-top self-check and full-service kiosks, a handheld inventory system, security gates, and encoding stations and on up to an automated materials sorting system with three to 253 bins, so it is operational for small and large libraries alike. The turnkey system also is based on an open data model.
