WebFeat now is marketing a new Enterprise Edition targeted at multilibrary networks. According to WebFeat, Enterprise Edition systems are built on the same Search Prism platform currently used by more than a dozen state library/multilibrary networks, among them CARLI—Consortium of Academic Research Libraries in Illinois; GALILEO—Georgia’s Virtual Library; INCOLSA—Indiana’s Virtual Library; LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network; NOVEL—New York Ohio Public Library Information Network. It supports all major site authentication methods, says WebFeat, including “IP and referrer URL, solving the challenge of discrete multilibrary identification and authentication into the federated system.”

It also offers networks the ability to set up an infinite number of profiles that can include different database lists, authentication credentials, “even completely different interface looks and feels,” as well as the ability to augment common networkwide database collections with those from individual member libraries.
