VTLS Wins Overseas Libraries

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 8/15/2006

VTLS is expanding its overseas presence with new contracts. Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, has signed for VITAL, which uses the vendor’s open source digital object repository, FEDORA. National Library of Pakistan, that nation’s leading depository of its published and copyrighted literature, is installing a Virtua system to manage it all. The library boasts a collection of 200,000 volumes, 70,000 bibliographic records, and 100,000 item records.
