It’s Vubis for Lewis & Clark

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 7/15/2006

The Lewis & Clark Library, Helena, MT, has selected Extensity’s (formerly Geac) Vubis System to manage its 115,000-item collection. The library, a Geac customer for more than a decade, has been pleased by the vendor’s support and the system’s ease of use. The new system offers enhanced workflow and administrative tools for library staff and patrons, affording simultaneous search of multiple databases, links to subscription resources, and a web OPAC customized for appearance, language, and search results. The system also offers RSS feeds, selective dissemination of information, and associative searching.
