Turabo University Chooses Ex Libris

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 6/15/2006

Puerto Rico's Turabo University, Gurabo, has contracted with Ex Libris for the SFX link resolver to be used in the territory's first virtual library, now in development. The contract marks the vendor's first SFX foray into Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. A member of the Ana G. Méndez University System, Turabo is a private university. While it is the vendor's initial Caribbean SFX customer, Ex Libris already has a presence at the University of the West Indies, which chose ALEPH 500 in 2005 for its campuses at St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago; Mona, Jamaica; and Cave Hill in Barbados.

In other news, Ex Libris named Einat Zviran its new vice president of software development.
