TLC's New Deal for AquaBrowser

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 5/15/2006

The Library Corporation (TLC) and Medialab Solutions BV obviously are enjoying their relationship: the two have announced that they are expanding their original agreement to allow TLC to sell AquaBrowser Library, Medialab's visual-based search engine, abroad. TLC currently is the exclusive dealer of AquaBrowser in the United States and Canada, but the new agreement will increase the vendor's territory to include Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Identical to the North American arrangement, the overseas contracts will be for the inclusion of AquaBrowser as part of TLC's Library•Solution system or as a standalone product for libraries using other vendors' integrated library system (ILS) solutions.
