-- Library Journal, 11/28/2005

OCLC's NetLibrary November 21 laid claims to being the first econtent platform to reach the 100,000-title benchmark with the addition of Growth and Empowerment, Making Development Happen by Nicolas Stern and others (MIT Pr.). "The NetLibrary platform syndicates content from more than 400 publishers and makes it available in systems serving 13,000 libraries worldwide," OCLC said. Though it has 100,000 titles under its belt, NetLibrary said it will not slow down and plans to continually increase its content, adding 20,000 titles in 2005 alone.
