Curvy & customizable Demco's Custom Curved Sign Holders can be distinguished with any message. They can be used on a counter or mounted on a wall. The signs are available in three sizes and accommodate up to 12 characters of text. Choose from a black laminate or medium oak wood base. Rocking shelves For 2006, Kingsley will debut the Xtreme Duty series of library book trucks. The Kingsley Adjusta Book Trolley will feature fully independent and adjustable shelves. Shelves can be tilted for an upward or downward angle or flat for displaying magazines or electronic media. The unit comes with a flat bottom and four shelves, but more can be added. Six plate-mounted, 5" casters allow easy movement, even over plush carpeting. End panels are available in a variety of colors and materials. Constructed from 18-gauge steel. Librarian-designed If libraries are going to handle a variety of media, then they need the right equipment to move and process them. Busting a move The Bar-Code Scanning Technology System from William B. Meyer's Library Relocation Division helps libraries prepare for and manage a move, using Palm Pilots. The scanning system can manage inventory accurately, identify where a barcoded item is when it is moved, and even provide a physical inventory of either a specific shelf location or an entire collection. LIBRARY STAND

Reading better The Lichfield Library Stand from Levenger, made from solid alder, includes a magnifier that draws in ambient light so that type appears three times larger as well as brighter.
