Books Available Through Ovid

By Staff -- Library Journal, 8/15/2004

The American Psychological Association (APA) is partnering with Ovid Technologies to make access to its PsycBOOKS full-text database available through Ovid's online platform. Ovid said that more than 600 titles, including 100 out-of-print works from 1950 to 2002 and approximately 50 archival resources, will be available initially, with ten additional titles added monthly. Users will be able to view tables of contents and locate book chapters in PDF form as well as search bibliographic records. Full-text chapters for many titles will be searchable.
