Classical Library Adds Top Tunes

Unique recordings from Hyperion and VOX labels; PALINET signs on

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 9/1/2003

Classical International has added the collections from leading record labels Hyperion and VOX to the offerings included in its Classical Music Library Service. Hyperion's collection includes many unique recordings and covers choral, solo, orchestral, chamber, and instrumental works. The VOX catalog includes the complete Beethoven piano works, performed by Alfred Brendel and others.

Additionally, Classical has cut a deal to provide its Music Library to members of the PALINET Cooperative Purchasing Program. PALINET member libraries will be able to supply Classical's more than 12,000 recordings to their patrons.
