Automation Vets Rejoin the Field
Wilson, Walton, Hatvany, and Rietdyk back in the library technology fold

Jim Wilson, one of the founding partners of Dynix, has rejoined the company as senior library advisor to work with prospective customers of the Horizon Information Management System. Wilson established Dynix in 1983 with Paul Sybrowsky and Keith Wilson; he served as the company's first VP of sales and marketing. Since leaving the company in 2001, he has worked as a library automation consultant.
Robert Walton has been appointed chair of the board of Ex Libris (USA). In 1999, he became VP for finance and business at the College of Wooster, OH. He is best known for his stints as chief financial officer of Innovative Interfaces during the 1990s and as president of the now-defunct CLSI.
SilverPlatter Information founders Béla Hatvany and Ron Rietdyk have joined the board of Classical.com. Rietdyk additionally is the operation's new chair and acting CEO.
Though he has remained in the field, Don Muccino has been named VP of customer services at Endeavor Information Systems. Muccino had been at OCLC for 27 years, most recently as executive VP and COO.
