Amlib 3.12 Latest Brodart Release

New incarnation features several enhancements; OK buys DartClix

By Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 5/1/2003

Brodart Automation is now marketing the latest edition of its standard library management system. Amlib 3.12 incorporates several new features, which, according to Brodart, include batch importing of patron pictures, merging of patron records (both circulation and financial), and enhanced invoicing features. For school libraries, the system has incorporated new options for loan periods for a term, a semester, or a year. An expanded keyword table also makes for improved searching.

School buys DartClix

Additionally, Brodart is making headway with its DartClix collection of reviewed and cataloged web sites: Western Heights Public Schools, Oklahoma City, is installing DartClix in its OPAC. The school system serves 3200 students, and its collective libraries have holdings of 12,000 items.
