Auckland Contract for Endeavor
New Zealand university adding ENCompass to existing system
by Michael Rogers -- Library Journal, 2/15/2003
New Zealand's University of Auckland apparently is quite enamored with Endeavor Information Systems: in 1998 it contracted for the vendor's Voyager system, to which it added LinkFinderPlus in July 2002. Now the school has signed for the installation of the vendor's ENCompass digital management, organization, and linking tool. According to Endeavor, the library will use ENCompass for several functions: "[It] will enhance LEARN, the library's online gateway to over 350 databases, 13,000+ e-books, and 55,000+ e-journals, and the Voyager catalog."
