Spanish-language medical resource offers info from 50 journals

EBSCO Publishing is marketing a new database for Spanish-speaking medical researchers. Called MedicLatina, the database includes the full text with PDFs for more than 50 peer-reviewed medical journals in Spanish. According to EBSCO, the publications cover a range of topics including neuroscience, cardiology, nephrology, biomedicine, clinical research, and pediatrics.
Among the journals included are Revista Cubana de Cardiología y Cirugía Cardiovascular, Revisitad de la Facultad de Medicina de la unam, Revista Médica del Imss, Revista Mexicana de Patalogia Clinica, and ACIMED. The database, which will be included on EBSCOhost, also comes with the English-language Archives of Medical Research. The database offers an optional Spanish interface and translation software.
