Industry News: ebrary Goes International

Partnerships with three overseas retailers for UK, Asia, Middle East

ebrary is taking bigger steps forward following the recent introduction of its elibrarian product and content partnerships with additional U.S.-based publishers. This time the company has cut deals with three international resellers. Coutts Library Services, which has been selling products and services to libraries since 1969, will resell the ebrarian service throughout the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Also, iGroup, one of the largest providers of information services in the Asia–Pacific Rim area, is distributing the service throughout Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. E-libro.net, a leading provider of information services for the Spanish-language market, is distributing the company's wares throughout Latin America and to Spanish-language libraries in the United States.
