No More Tax Forms, Say Palo Alto Libraries

For the first time in about 20 years, the Palo Alto Public Library, CA will no longer distribute federal or state tax forms or publications -- a signal that an increasing number of libraries have become frustrated with the annual ritual. The service has become too time-consuming and thus costly for library staff members, Supervising Librarian Sylvia Baker told the January 11 San Jose Mercury News.
