Craig Buthod Named Louisville PL Director

Craig Buthod will begin his duties in April as director of the Louisville Free Public Library, KY, at an annual salary of $85,000. He was deputy city librarian of the Seattle Public Library from 1992 to 1996, when he served as acting director and CEO. Buthod began his library career in 1972 as a research assistant at the Tulsa City/County Library System, OK. He was promoted to head of the business and technology department in 1979, then to chief of the central library in 1985.
