January Designated National Book Month

Staff -- Library Journal, 1/19/1998

The National Book Foundation (NBF) has officially designated January as National Book Month. The celebration is an extension of NBF's traditional week-long celebration held the beginning of January for the last eight years. The event will be marked with celebrations promoting the pleasure of books and reading at library's and booksellers across the nation.
