ALA Midwinter 1998 Attendance Up Over 1997

Preliminary attendance estimates of the American Library Association's Midwinter Meeting in New Orleans are slightly up over last year's event in Washington, D.C. Total paid attendance as of January 11 was 10,471 versus 10,379 at last year's Midwinter Meeting.
