W. Michael Havener Named University of Rhode Island GLIS Director

The University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Library and Information Studies (GSLIS) has appointed W. Michael Havener its new director. Havener comes to this office from his most recent position as an instructor and assistant director at the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to teaching courses in library science, Havener additionally served as the director of the university's library and information research center. He previously held positions at the University of Michigan, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Delaware.
