Virginia Library Association Supports Challenge to Filter Law

The Virginia Library Association has unanimously approved a resolution supporting the American Library Association in its legal challenge to federally mandated Internet filters. The statement said that the law could not be effective, and would "create a gross and inefficient waste of precious financial, technological, and human resources" and undermine local governmental control.
