ALA Launches New CIPA Web Site; FCC Comments Due

The American Library Association's (ALA) Office for Intellectual Freedom and Washington Office have launched a new Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) web site aimed to keep the library community updated about ALA activity regarding CIPA and the associated Neighborhood Internet Protection Act, including a lawsuit challenging CIPA and federal rulemaking. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding CIPA. Comments are due by Feb. 10.
