The Best Strategy for Library Portals
Staff -- Library Journal, 1/8/2001
What's the most useful library portal? Well, writes Mick O'Leary in Online, it might be best to use several. At the end of a long article grading the various portals, O'Leary advises scanning the table of contents of the Internet Library for Librarians (ILL) and scanning the index to LibraryLand, the two best portals. He also suggests browsing Yahoo's Library Collection for more esoteric material. For association lists, go to LibraryHQ and the ILL. For electronic discussion groups, try LibraryLand or Library-Oriented Lists and Electronic Serials.
