Staff -- Library Journal, 3/13/2000
announced this week that it will release e-book versions of 14 AMACOM Books business titles at the same time that print versions of the books arrive in bookstores. According to netLibrary spokesman Brian Bell, the series with AMACOM Books, the publishing arm of the American Management Association, "represents the largest simultaneous release of books in both formats" in netLibrary's history. "AMACOM Books has been one of our most aggressive and forward-looking publishers in terms of seeking new ways to market e-books," said netLibrary President and CEO Timothy R. Schiewe, in announcing the deal. The simultaneous e-book release series will continue through the spring of 2000.
