Denver PL Receives $30K Grant for Gay Materials

The Denver Public Library has received a $30,000 grant from the Gill Foundation that is slotted solely for the purchase of books and other materials concerning homosexuals and bisexuals. According to the Rocky Mountain News, the money will be used to purchase "1700 books, serials, video and audio tapes. New additions include literary classics, popular novels, volumes of poetry, histories, biographies, sociology titles, encyclopedias, travel guides, scripts, and documentary videos."
