Michele D. Behr has been named Membership Services Librarian at Southeastern Library Network, Inc. (SOLINET), Atlanta. Behr has been the OCLC Services Coordinator and Training and Consulting Librarian for SOLINET.

Johanna R. Bradley has been named Director of the Library Science Program at Syracuse University, NY. Bradley was an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Library and Information Science, Bloomington.

Stephen D. Dreisler has been named Executive Director of the School Division, Association of American Publishers, Washington, DC. He was previously Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Chief Lobbyist for the National Association of Realtors, Washington, DC.

Annabel E. Fogal has been appointed Manager of Cataloging Services for Follett Audiovisual Services, Crystal Lake, IL. Fogal was Cataloging Services Manager for Brodart Company.

Mario Gonzalez has been named Director, Greenwich Library, CT. Gonzalez was Director of Programs and Special Services for Brooklyn Public Library.

Lisa Hedin has been appointed Executive Director of Library Services for Chippewa River District Library (CRDL), Mount Pleasant, MI. She was previously Technology Coordinator and Interim Director for CRDL.

Kelly Hovendick has been named Social Sciences Reference Librarian at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Libraries (UM-KC). She completed her MLS at the University of Arizona. Colleen MacKinnon has been appointed Library Instruction Librarian at UM-KC. She earned her MLIS from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS. Robert Ray has been named Special Collections Librarian at UM-KC; he was formerly a Special Collections Librarian at the Oliver Ocasek Regional Medical Information Center in the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown. Brian Rosenblum has been appointed Humanities Reference Librarian at UM-KC. Rosenblum earned his MLS from the University of Michigan.

Theresa Johnson has been named Head of Access Services at Perry Library, Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. Johnson was formerly Head of the Circulation Department, University of West Florida, Pensacola.

Lori Lessey has been appointed Branch Manager, Missouri City Branch Library, TX. Lessey was Branch Manager of the Mamie George Branch Library, Stafford, TX, since 1986.

Melissa McKie is the new Branch Manager for the South Holiday branch of the Pasco County Library System, Hudson, FL. McKie was previously a Medical Librarian for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa.

Sheryl Nichin-Keith has been appointed Assistant Commissioner for Collections, Chicago Public Library (CPL). Nichin-Keith was Director of Technical Services for CPL.

Thomas Peters has been appointed Director of the Center for Library Initiatives of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation, Champaign, IL, effective January 1. Peters is Dean of University Libraries, Western Illinois University, Macomb.

Siobhan A. Reardon has been named Deputy Executive Director of Brooklyn Public Library (BPL), after serving as Director of Finance since 1996.

Linda Wilson has been named Head Librarian, Maple Woods Community College, Kansas City, MO. She was previously a Sales Manager for Ameritech Library Services.

Hannis Smith, former Library Division Director of the Minnesota Department of Education, died October 20.
