St. Martin's Signs Stephen Cannell

St. Martin's Press has signed a two-book, six-figure contract with bestselling author and Emmy Award-winning TV writer Stephen Cannell. Cannell has a proven track record in both mediums, having wracked up five top-selling thrillers and having either created, co-created, or scripted more than 40 televisions shows. This first novel with St. Martin's will be The Tin Collectors featuring his ongoing character Shane Scully. The title is scheduled for publication sometime in winter 2001.
