Pegasus Launches Library and Education Division

Staff -- Library Journal, 2/14/2000

Pegasus, one of Canada's leading book wholesalers, has launched a division dedicated solely to the library and education market called Pegasus Library and Education Services (PLES). By focusing solely on these markets, Pegasus claims it will be able to sell merchandise at lower prices: "PLES promises to offer an increase in purchasing power to its customers by selling to libraries at discounts, by streamlining the purchasing process, and fulfilling the cataloging and processing requirements of libraries."
