Westview Press is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the announcement of its mission to be a "higher education publisher for the 21st century." To fulfill this goal, the publisher said it "accepts and embraces the technological revolution now underway, a revolution that expands the means by which ideas can reach [their] audience." Scott Lubeck, Westview's managing director, added that the press is "renewing our commitment to serve a global academic community by providing researchers and instructors with world-class scholarship, primary texts, and instructional materials. While our intellectual foundation is higher education, we support the growing movement to life-long learning by making available ideas that change the world..by all means...whether the World Wide Web or printed book."
