HarperCollins Seeking Librarian's Memories of "To Kill A Mockingbird"

Staff -- Library Journal, 3/8/1999

HarperCollins is soliciting librarians to share their remembrances of Harper Lee's perennial crowd-pleaser To Kill a Mockingbird to coincide with a 40th anniversary edition being released this October. Librarians voted the novel as their favorite in LJ's November 15 poll of the century's favorites. HarperCollins Virginia Stanley has asked librarians that if the book "was one of your favorites, or if it simply made an impression on you, share it and you'll automatically be entered in a raffle to win all 13 HarperCollins titles that appear in the LJlist." Please keep your quotes to two sentences and send them to: virginia.stanley@harpercollins.com.
