Tufts University/Dekker To Publish Nutrition Supplement Guide

Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy is creating what it has dubbed the "world's first expert nutrition guide for physicians, healthcare workers, alternative practitioners, and the public." The Tufts Nutrition Desk Reference will be created entirely by noted clinicians and scholars around the world. The volume, which will be released by New York-based publisher Marcel Dekker, Inc., reportedly will cover "vitamins, minerals, herbs, botanicals, and dietary/ nutritional supplements among other widely used over-the-counter products." A hardcover edition of the book is scheduled for release in July 2000, at which time an online version will also be mounted on the Internet.
