Staff -- Library Journal, 1/11/1999
With the countdown to the centennial celebration of the birth of Ernest Hemingway approaching, it seems that every passing day brings news of another book being published to coincide with the July event. The festivities, however, won't just be limited to print. The author's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Old Man and the Sea has been selected to become the first animated feature for IMAX theaters. A cartoon version, animated by Oscar contender Alexandre Petrov, will debut on 140 oversized IMAX screens this June.
